The Cape Philarharmonic Orchestra is an active and full-time professional orchestra operating in Cape Town (one of only two in South Africa). They put on regular Symphony Seasons which are a series of productions in the City Hall.

There is a variety of classical music on offer with each show generally highlighting a particular conductor and soloist. Be sure to check out the calendar on the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra website which has detailed information on upcoming Symphony Season shows.

There is a Summer Symphony Season and a Winter Symphony Season both of which follow a similar format and are run in the City Hall.
