Make a difference while enjoying a lazy Saturday and visit Cape Town's new and vibrant little community market on Kloof Street. Community projects and other organic producers will regularly uplift the community with Cape Town’s newest addition to its popular market culture, the Joy Market which is hosted by Love Project gift shop and Deli 55.

The shop and market day on Kloof Street is situated in the Dutch Reformed Church Centre and is operated in close relation with various non-profit organizations who sell their products there. The Joy market will give you a chance to meet the people making a difference and support them in various ways.

There will be many similar Joy market days throughout the year. Set dates are 4 October, 3-6 November, and 6 December. There will also be a special weeklong Christmas market in November, just in time for all the Christmas shopping.

Make a nice Saturday day of it, bring the kids and enjoy a lunch at Deli 55-restaurant which is also located in the Church Centre. The whole family can enjoy themselves and the kids will have plenty to do.

There will be a canned food drive together with Feedback Food Redistribution and Love Project and they invite everyone to help collect food and bring it along to the event.
