Aris Souvlaki is a 'no frills' Greek restaurant in Sea Point. The double story establishment is across the road from the Spar and has two floors and a balcony overlooking the bustling Main Road.
The food is cheap (most mains for under R50), tasty and of good quality. Expect shawarmas (including an excellent 'open' shawarma option), skewers, baklava and other Greek favorites.
This is a restaurant to be recommended for those who love Greek food and don't mind a plastic table cloth.
Tips
- Shawarmas can be ordered as 'open' which means that all the ingredients come separately on your plate and you can 'construct' your own shawarma
Getting There
Aris Souvlaki is on the left of Sea Point Main Road as you drive away from the city. It is almost at the end of Main Road (Regent) and across the road from the Spar
- Get onto Sea Point Main Road and head away from the city
- Continue until the road splits at St Johns and keep right onto Regent
- Drive until you see the large Spar on your right and Aris Souvlaki is across the road on your left
