Sea Point Promenade

There is a wonderful paved walkway stretching from the Lighthouse in Greenpoint till the far end of Sea Point (with a little bit of road walking I have walked from the V&A waterfront to Camps Bay safely and easily).
Around Sea Point there is access to a number of small beach areas and there are also grass areas which are a favourite for picnics, some informal soccer or cricket matches and general family quality time. Great to walk, people watch or just chill out and enjoy the city and its people. The Sea Point Pool is also along this stretch.
- There is a yummy ice cream vendor near the Sea Point Pool so bring some cash and enjoy an ice cream on your wander
- As always when you are enjoying Cape Town weather - wear sunscreen or a hat to protect from the sun
- Because it is protected, flat and has a great view the promenade is great for jogging
The promenade runs along the ocean's edge through Sea Point. Just head down towards the water and you will find it

I used the Sea Point
I used the Sea Point promenade for jogging for ca 3 months during my stay in Cape Town. And I never found a running-stretch as great as this one along the Sea Point coast. The hole range is flat, the distance was perfect for me for a round-trip and the view was just great, especially during sunset.
My conclusion: Perfect!!
