The Porter Estate Produce Market is an outdoor organic and fresh produce market held each Saturday on the grounds of the Chrysalis Academy in Tokai. There are many stalls selling a variety of locally produced and fresh produce.
The goods available are all fresh and sold directly by the producers - you won't find these in a supermarket. You can expect to find organic vegetables, hand made chocolates, fresh bread (from Knead /activity/gardens/knead-bakery), fresh fruit and a variety of other novel items.
There are also several food stalls where visitors can grab some breakfast and snacks between browsing the stalls. The market is family oriented and there is plenty of space to relax and for children to keep busy.

The Porter Estate Produce Market is held at Chrysalis academy in Tokai
- Take the M3 out of Cape Town towards Muizenberg
- Take the TOKAI RD offramp towards the mountains
- At the traffic circle continue straight on
- Drive past the Tokai Forest and carry on until you reach a right at the Manor House
- Once inside the Chrysalis grounds there will be sings (pictures of pigs) directing you to the market
