Making its first appearance on the trail running calendar in the Western Cape, the Bain’s Trail Run presented by Asics will be held on Monday 22 March 2010 at Welvanpas Farm, Wellington.
Runners will have the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the area choosing between a 7km or a 12km trail consisting of single track through vineyards, pristine fynbos and along a mountain stream. Both distances will traverse the slopes of Groenberg, with the 12km route going on to explore the lower areas of Bainskloof. Runners and supporters can stay on to enjoy the Wellington Harvest Festival and indulge themselves with good coffee, food and wine at Die Ou Meul coffee shop at Welvanpas.
Entries limited to 200 runners. Pre-entry only.
Online entry closes at 12:00 on Thursday 18 March 2010.
Entry fee: 12km: R70, plus online entry fee of R9.80.

Take the Bainskloof Road out of Wellington, turn left after you passed Redemption shoes (on your left), turn right immediately, at the T-junction turn right and carry on. The road becomes a gravel road. After the road has turned sharply to the left you will get to Welvanpas Farm.
