Activities in Langebaan

Die Strandloper is a superb open air seafood restaurant in Langebaan (about 125km up the west coast from Cape Town). It is a relaxed place on the beach of the Langebaan Lagoon with a sandy floor and tables arranged around the central fish braai. Meals are served over a leisurely three to four hour period and apart from the crayfish everything is eat as much as you like.

About a 1 hour drive up the West Coast from Cape Town is the West Coast National Park. The park is primarily home to many bird species including thousands of roosting seabirds, but you will also find Tortoises, various buck species, Ostriches and other small animals. Other main attractions are the beautiful Langabaan Lagoon and the spring flowers which carpet the area.
