Newbie Bowls is an organisation which organizes and facilitates lawn bowls parties and functions. The aim is to introduce people to the sport of lawn bowls in a fun group environment. There are two package options both of which include a quick lesson, use of the clubhouse and all equipment. Groups can range from 6 to 108 people.
Come and learn how to play the African djembe drum! We have a drum circle every Monday night in Rondebosch. Beginners are welcome. Drums are available for hire. We also do private sessions in any location by arrangement - please enquire about the cost.
The Baxter Theatre is one of the main theatre venues in Cape Town and hosts plenty of plays, musicals, live music, comedy festivals, etc. The theatre complex is in Rondebosch and is part of the University of Cape Town.
