The Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock is a market/village offering hip and fashionable shoplets, farm stalls, and cafes. It is located in an old mill and is a fun spot to explore and experience - people often go there for the experience rather than for shopping!

Carlucci’s (Oranjezicht)

Carlucci's is a deli, restaurant and shop on Upper Orange Street in Gardens/Oranjezicht. With tables inside and outside the restaurant/deli is very popular. Carlucci's also sells unusual and imported foods and wines with many patrons arriving only to make use of the shop.

New Balance has a large outlet/factory store at their offices in Diep River. The store stocks a large range of their shoes and sports wear for very reasonable prices. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and there are some excellent deals to be had.

The V&A Waterfront is Cape Town's most well known shopping mall largely because of its amazing location. On the edge of the working harbor (where you can often see seals) and with amazing views up onto Table Mountain and Devils Peak, the Waterfront offers a beautiful and interesting shopping location for locals and tourists.

Wembley Square

Wembley Square is a trendy little centre in Gardens that contains a flagship Virgin Active, several cafes and some fashion boutiques. The tenants at Wembley Square include Virgin Active, a hairdresser, Vida E, Crush, Knead, Sinns Restaurant and 9 fashion stores. Cavendish Square is a shopping mall in Claremont that offers more than 200 mostly upmarket stores (with the notable exception of McDonalds). There is plenty of undercover parking available; the mall itself is trolley free.

Canal Walk

Canal Walk is a massive (was the biggest in Africa when it opened) shopping centre outside of Cape Town. It was completed in 2000 and is actually pretty nicely done as far as malls go. The finishes are good, the place is well run and kept clean. There is also stacks of parking and it is affordable, unlike the Waterfront!
